TU;MA Team in the Community

Our TU;MA TEAM believes in the power of being in one accord even though we coexist individually. To fulfill this, we work willingly alongside others in our community to shed light on mental health awareness and suicide prevention in hopes that together we can break the stigma, bring attention to resources available locally and globally as well as show support to those who may need it most. We are the bridge that connects our community to appropriate care and gives a lending hand when we can, most especially to our youth.

05.31 Inspire

Thank you to Inspire Marianas for inviting us to be part of “May Day”! We hope we inspired these little ones to remember just how important it is to value themselves most especially in times they aren’t feeling their best. We never want to teach our little ones to disregard their emotions, rather, we allow them to “feel” it out and then guide them to healthy choices in coping and/or managing those feelings. It was the absolute sweetest to hear these #TUMAKIDS come up with their positive affirmations. Remember it’s never too early or late to teach our kids why it’s important to “CHOOSE YOU” (themselves) and how to Self Love.

We even reminded them that there’s so much power in simply listening to someone’s story. We answered questions and provided insight on local resources available to them.

06.23 Guam Centenarian Celebration

Our team was proud to be a part of this year’s Guam Centenarian celebration. It was an honor to witness the love and appreciation given to the 9 recipients and their families. A beautiful intimate and well-deserved recognition to each of them. Continued blessings to our Manåmko’ and their caregivers. We are grateful for the longevity of their existence and the ways they each uniquely contribute to our island community.
